One of the sites you may want to block at your workplace is Facebook.  I have seen it be the biggest time sucker in the workplace today.
And, it’s not stopping anytime soon.
comScore reports that Facebook gained more than 8.5 million unique monthly visitors in May.
Kind of makes the 30,000 who de-listed under the privacy controversy irrelevant.

Interactive Marketing: $55 Billion by 2014

Interactive marketing in the United States will reach $55 billion by 2014, according to a study by Forrester Research.
Search marketing will lead the growth, totaling $31.5 billion by 2014, followed by display advertising at $16.9 billion.  Social media projects to $3.1 billion and email marketing to $2.1 billion.

There are more women on Twitter than men, according to a May 2009 study of Twitter users.
55% of Twitter users are female.
Men have more followers.  Of those that women follow, 56% are men.  Of those that men follow, an even larger 65% are men.
