The overall consensus from numerous studies is that the best day to send promotional emails is Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
That being said, there’s far more to it than simply picking a day. If you choose to send email on Monday, send it late in the morning, just before lunch time, as this is the time when people have the best chance to check their in boxes.
If you wish to send on Friday, you will likely have less competition for readership as email volumes decrease on Fridays. If you are sending Friday messages, send them early just in case the employee is planning to leave a little early for the weekend.
