According to a study by Return Path, here are the percentage of lost emails by email provider:
* Bell South — 21.5%
If you want to send her an email, hope she doesn't use Bell South.
* Gmail — 20.7
* MSN — 19.2
* Hotmail — 19.1
* Yahoo — 18.5
* AOL — 17.0
* Comcast — 14.7
* Road Runner — 14.6
* NetZero — 12.2
* USA.net — 11.2
* Cox — 5.5
Nationally, in the United States and Canada, 20% of emails are not making it into the in boxes. This includes 3% that goes into the junk file and another 17% that simply goes missing. The situation is not as bad in Asia where 86.9% of emails get properly delivered and in Europe where 85% get delivered.
