According to a study from Hitwise, search engine market share ranked by volume of searches breaks down as follows:
- Google — 70.93%
- Yahoo! — 16.58%
- Bing — 8.91%
- Ask — 2.54%
- AOL — 0.28%
Bing continues to make its mark in search engine market share. Its pending partnership with Yahoo will further boost its search volume in the future. Google, however, remains the dominant player.
