101 Top Social Media Sites

Sometimes things come along in your business where expenses are difficult to justify, but then once you have purchased them, you realize just how valuable that purchase was.

Such is the case with SEO Moz.  At $799 per year, it’s tough for a blogger to justify that cost.  Sure, you can understand it if you are an SEO consultant, but if you work in a company where SEO is just one of many things that you do, it’s hard to justify the cost and even harder to convince the boss (who just got rid of the bottled water in the refrigerator) to spring for it.

In fact, however, perhaps the greatest value of SEO Moz is the person who does many things in addition to SEO.  Like me, however, he’s somebody who would just as soon learn about SEO during the evening hours in front of the television as watch a football game.  After all, we all multi-task now, don’t we?

When it comes to social media, few internet marketers would argue about its benefits.  But, there’s only so many hours in the day.  So, after I update my Facebook and Linked In accounts, and send out a few Twitters, there’s no time for the others.

Some of the other social media sites, however, can be extremely valuable especially for proving do-follow links.  Social media marketing is a great thing to tackle with that smart summer intern.  So, go ahead and lay the groundwork and get that intern to work on it this summer.
