File Extension .part Files

Files that end in the extension .part are actually partial files so that should be easy for you to remember. Sites like Go!Zilla use .part files. So, if you have received a file extension part it is likely from Go!Zilla or a similar site.
A .part file is actually a very good thing, because it breaks down a very large file that could not be easily downloaded in one setting. A file extension part breaks it down into several files. It then opens many channels to download all of the pieces of the file simultaneously. If it didn’t do this, the process would be incredibly slow.
The great thing about a file extension part is that it actually keeps track of how your computer is doing on the download. If you are in a place where you lose the connection, for example, when you start the download process again, it will pick up where the download had left off.
