Cell Phone Only Households
According to an article published by mobile marketing site 84444.com, 20.2% of all American households
are now cell phone-only households.
Not surprisingly, the story indicates that poorer, younger, and unrelated members of a household are most likely to have cut the cord of their landline phone and become cell-phone only households.
The number of cell phone-only households continues to grow. It’s up 3 percentage points in just the last year.
Not surprisingly, the mobile marketing site goes on to say that the best way to reach these households is via its technology. Always an angle, but in this case, a good one.
