The average user Tweets .97 times per day. The average amount of lifetime Tweets is 119. The average user has a 100 to 77 following to follower ratio. Business hours are the most used for Tweeting. London is the most popular spot for Twitterers.Following Limits Imposed
Twitter has recently imposed a limit of 2000 followers maximum unless the user has at least 2000 following him/her. Therefore, you will see a lot of accounts with the maximum 2000 followers.
The study did not say how many submit Tweets by text message versus the computer.
