Twitter Explodes
It seems like no matter where you turn these days, somebody is talking about Twittering, Tweeting, or whatever.
I must admit, at first, I just didn’t get it. In fact, I hate using the “What am I Doing Now” feature on Facebook. I mean, whose business is it anyway?
So, why would I use Twitter which is just this feature and nothing else?
The answer is numbers. Twitter grew by an astonishing 76.8% from February to March, 2009 and now has over 14 million uniques per month. Facebook too is showing powerful growth–a 23.4% growth in the same time period with a total of 91 million uniques per month.
