Crash Hits e-Commerce

It’s not just the auto industry that needs a bailout.  e-Commerce is struggling too. 

An industry that has grown accustomed to 20% gains year on year is now at 1% growth in October ‘08 versus October ‘07!

Most of the drop has come from those households earning less than $50,000 per year.  Those in the $50-100,000 bracket showed the average 1% increase in October.  Those in the $100,000+ bracket grew by 14%.  The poorest households, however, showed a 3% drop.
