The statistics regarding blogs are astounding! 
According to a Technorati study, there are 133 million blogs.  In fact, 1.5 million blogs were started just last week.
But, of all the blogs, only 5.6% have been updated in the past four months.

29% of Americans online watch user-generated video online compared to 20% in Japan and 17% in the UK. 
8% of Americans online upload their own videos to the web.  This compares to 3% of Japanese and 4% of British.
