- Daily search use grew by 69% in the past six years.
- Search is the most likely chore done on the internet with reading the news coming in second at 39%, followed by checking weather 30%, hobbies 29%, fun 28%, social networking 13%.
- Of those with incomes over $75,000 per year, 62% search daily.
- Broadband connections daily search rate was 58% versus 26% for those with dial-up connections.
- 55% of those 18-29 did a daily search; of those 65+, 27% search daily.
