Google Continues to Dominate Search

Google continues to dominate the business of internet search and only seems to be extending its lead over rival Yahoo.  According to the Nielsen Report for first quarter, 2008, Google has a 61% market share in the USA followed by Yahoo at 18% and MSN at 5%.

What is more astonishing is the continued dominance of men over women when it comes to search.  Google’s percentage of searches come from the mice of 65% men;  Yahoo has a 63% male gender gap.
